This is the Prudential Tower, AKA "the Pru," which I believe retains the status of Boston's second tallest skyscraper. From our first apartment on Commonwealth Avenue back in 1995, we could see it from our windows, and it became something of a symbol for us. No matter how insane and uncertain our lives were, we could look out the window and say, "The Prudential Tower is still there."

Then we realized that you can see the thing from almost every point in the city, and this little photography project was born: an attempt to get pictures of the Pru from as many different points as I can.
