Scott solidified once he was back in the office and slammed a metallic fist into the desk, leaving an inhuman handprint and a lot of splintered wood. He grabbed the mysterious box and went liquid, slithered back out the window, wrapped himself around the rope and slid down to the end, stretched himself almost the entire way to the ground and dropped the last fifteen feet to the pavement, looking like a snake which had just had a hefty meal. From there he moved easily into the sewers and back to the lair.
