He loaded trucks bound for parts unknown during the day and at night usually had a few brews with the boys before heading home. All of this changed a few weeks ago when a freak accident caused a cylinder containing unusual nuclear experiment waste exploded. Samuel was bathed in the waste, but survived, apparently unharmed. While Samuel wasn't hurt, he was not quite the same. Several days after the accident, his superhuman abilities appeared. About the same time, Samuel was given an opportunity to transfer to the New York City branch facility for higher pay and an assistant foreman's job. Thus, Samuel Stern, superhuman teamster, has arrived in the Big Apple.
