Powers Description (30 facets base)
Scientific Training Levinson is a natural genius who has spent his life studying the sciences with single minded devotion.
  • Genius Intellect: Levinson has +12 on his Intelligence score.
  • Scientific Training: His lifelong devotion increases his effective age by +30 years for the purposes of purchasing scientific careers and hobbies. Levinson is the preeminent expert in the field of cognitive telemetry, and has a +4 on all career and hobby rolls concerning that field, including his ENOCH systems.
ENOCH Systems Levinson has constructed a variety of artificial bodies, into which he can transmit his consciousness through cognitive telemetry technology. The equipment that broadcasts his consciousness exists only at Host HQ in Los Angles and in his lab at the University of Indiana, but his bodies exist all over the world. It only takes concentration for him to shift from one body to another, and only rare forms of attack can cause sympathetic damage to Levinson through the link, allowing him to shift from one body to another almost instantly, regardless of the damage done to the forms. None of the bodies are capable of self healing, and must be repaired by qualified personnel. All the bodies have a Robot Body defense.
Remember that this is a transmission, and not a transference (not yet...). He cannot be trapped in a body— breaking the telemetry link merely shuts the form down and restores Levinson's awareness to his biological form. While the ENOCH forms are immune to biologically based mental attacks (there is no biological brain) Levinson does suffer penalties identical to astrally projected minds vs. mystical controls or attacks, since he lacks any of his body's bio-aura defenses.
  • Standard Form: This form is the most human-appearing of the ENOCH bodies, and is the one most associated with the name by the general populace. It is bipedal, and roughly corresponds to the dimensions and construction of the other Host armor, but with strange joints and open mechanical musculature.
    • Robot Form: The Standard form is made of lightweight metals and ceramics, and is not that large (it stands 6 feet high, with a fairly thin build, making it appear somewhat androgynous). Nonetheless, it weighs three times as much as Levinson himself does (360 lb.), and is much stronger than its creator [for the sake of simplicity, the ENOCH bodies are assumed to have Levinson's physical attributes as a baseline]. It has +14 to its strength and +8 to its endurance scores. It has compositors and a gyroscope to deal with its increased weight, increasing its agility by +2 (removing the agility modifier) and giving ENOCH a 2 die level (d60 to d20, etc.) on any rolls for it to maintain balance. The Form has Life Support defense and can survive undamaged for up to 18 years in virtually any environment—unfortunately Levinson himself can only be in the control rig for 12 hours at a stretch, but he can shut the body down wherever it is and return to it later. Finally, the form is shielded against Electromagnetic pulses, and cannot be shorted out or controlled by external Electrical Powers.
    • Sensory Gear: The Standard form has radio-reception and transmission capabilities, and acts as an amplifier for the communications gear within the other Host armors, boosting their range by a factor of 10. The radio gear covers conventional and private bandwidths, is connected to advanced decryption programs at Host HQ, and can jam other frequencies. The form has secondary and tertiary visual sensors, allowing Levinson to switch to backup eyes when necessary—these are not all located on the front of the form. Each visual array has excellent peripheral vision, eliminating facing modifiers for the sides, but not the rear. All of the visual gear can see in the infra-red and ultra-violent for night-vision purposes, but the reception is too poor for other uses.
    • Rocket-Propelled Flight: The standard form has rockets constructed into its legs, allowing it to fly at 360 MPH for up to 26 hours. The form also has secondary propulsion systems that increase its flight speed to 2,700 mph (MACH 3.5) for up to 4 hours. Both of these systems use self-combusting fuel, and ENOCH can use them for propulsion outside the atmosphere. This is propelled flight, with a control score of 12: ENOCH cannot hover.
    • Rocket Blasts: ENOCH's standard form can use its propulsion rockets as an attack by catching his opponents within the rockets exhaust path. The standard form's experimental systems produce very little heat, but a massive amount of force. ENOCH can attack individual targets with a range of 90 feet for a 2d8 damage Impact attack, or widen the blast corridor, attacking everyone within the cone (starting at his legs and extending 45 feet and having a final area width of 30 feet) for 1d12 damage.
  • Reconnaissance Form: This form doesn't appear human at all—it's a cylinder 1.8 meters high and .7 meters in diameter, with a pair of tendril arms on opposite points of its surface. It's also loaded to the gills with sensory equipment.
    • Robot Form: By an amazing coincidence, the lightweight, low density reconnaissance form weighs exactly the same as Levinson himself. It has +14 to its strength and +8 to its endurance scores. The Recon Form can survive undamaged for up to 18 months in virtually any environment, and has a Life Support defense. Like the Standard Form, it cannot be shorted out or controlled by external Electrical Powers. The Recon form also has an advanced speaker system that can transmit a variety of recorded sounds or amplify ENOCH's voice.
    • Rocket-Propelled Flight: The Recon can fly at 900 MPH (MACH 1+) for up to 26 hours using self-combusting fuel, good out of atmosphere. This is propelled flight, with a control score of 8, but the body can perform hover maneuvers without difficulty. The Recon body is utterly silent, due to sonic bafflers.20
    • Rocket Blasts: ENOCH's recon form can use its propulsion rockets as a crude attack with a range of 45 feet for 1d8 damage, attacking as Impact.
    • Sensory Gear: The Recon form has the same base radio reception, decryption and jamming technology as the Standard form. The form has 360 degree visual sensors, and visual sensors have very acute IR/UV that can see through thin walls and track by residual heat trails. It has advanced electrochemical sensors (meaning the robot can smell). All of the Recon form's sensory arrays are a least three times as effective as human senses and the Standard form's, tripling ENOCH's detection rolls for all purposes, and increasing their range by a factor of 100. All of its sensory data is relayed along the ENOCH telemetry and recorded for later analysis.20
  • Vehicle Forms: Levinson has modified several vehicles to hold his consciousness, including a Lotus sports car, a large non-descript van, an Apache helicopter, a cargo-plane, the Remora missiles and the Host HQ itself. He can occupy any of these and use them without having any physical contact with them. It is assumed he can pilot all of these vehicles, but only when using the ENOCH modifications.
  • War Form: Designed solely for conflict, the ENOCH war form has never been used in the field, and its abilities are not known at this time. We do know that he's built the damn thing....
Careers & Hobbies (68 years base)
  • Engineer (30 years Broad Career, 12+ bonuses): Levinson has a huge base of skill and extensive contacts within the fields of all forms of engineering, from computer engineering and programming (he can work in all major programming languages), to mechanical, electrical, architectural and social engineering, to robotics and cybernetics. This includes some contacts among pure scientists, but Levinson is at heart an engineer, looking for solutions rather than answers.
  • Cognitive Scientist (20 years focused career, added to Engineer career, 20+ bonuses): Levinson is one of the cutting edge minds in the realm of cognitive science, the determination of how thought works and how we can manipulate and duplicate it mechanically. He has contacts all throughout the field, and can draw upon the work and theories of dozens of other scientists worldwide. He is often invited to speak and present papers (although he never goes) and has a position at the Cognitive Science department of the University of Indiana, one of the most advanced facilities in the field in the world. Much of the ENOCH project is based on these sciences.
  • Telemetry Systems (6 years Broad Hobby, added to Engineer Career, 16+ bonuses): Levinson is an expert at telemetry systems, their designs, functions and weaknesses. He uses these for the satellite telemetry that connects him to the ENOCH bodies, but can apply this skill across any other aspects of telemetry as well.
  • Propulsion Systems (6 years Broad Hobby, added to Engineer Career, 16+ bonuses): As with the Telemetry systems, Levinson normally uses this skill with the ENOCH system, but he is skilled with all aspects of the design and construction of propulsion systems.
  • Auto Racing (3 years Focused Hobby, 8 plus bonuses): Levinson is a fan of auto racing, and knows who the current and past stars are. He is also a skilled race car driver, as car driving was the first test of the Telemetry systems that were late built into ENOCH.
  • Chess (3 years focused hobby, 8 plus bonuses): Levinson is a ranked chess player, although he no longer competes. He could be better at the game than he is, but he generally uses it as a distraction, playing games long distance against colleagues. He knows who the main players were from roughly a decade ago, but has fallen out of contact with the Chess scene.
  • Judo (1 level training in focused hobby, 8 or less plus bonuses): Levinson has recently learned the basics of Judo, modified for use in the ENOCH body. While he knows the moves in his normal body, he is too weak to use them effectively.
Weakness: Phsyical Handicap Levinson suffers from physical handicaps that leave him paraplegic and infirm. He cannot walk, and his strength and endurance have been reduced and cannot be raised by training. He gains no agility bonus for his low weight.
