Power Synopsis: An Olympic pentathalete and bodybuilder with a molecular acceleration exoskeleton.
  1. Athletic Training
    • Physical Training: +14 Strength; +6 Endurance; +4 on all non-damage rolls relating to athletic/physical ability, including unarmed combat and throwing weapons; Increase movement rate to 24 MPH and base jump to STR- Basic Hits in feet.
    • Focusing Strength: Rolls to "push" carrying capacity are made against STR, not WIL; Fatigue cost for pushing carrying capacity reduced to 1/4 normal (1 pt fatigue for using maximum lift); Unarmed combat does Dangerous grade damage. Special shot to ignore costume defense for one unarmed strike; Unarmed strikes to inanimate targets calculated against 1/2 structural rating. Special Attack to punch targets through barriers.
  2. Molecular Motion Device: Built into her armor suit, this has a range of 180 feet.
    • Aura/Body Exoskeleton: +21 Strength; Full Adaptation type defense; x2 weight for purposes of carry cap and knockback.
    • Flame Aura: One action to state a flame powers defense. While aura active, has controlled flight (control 16) at 360 MPH.
    • Flame Projection: Flame Blast for 2d8 damage, at range or as carried attack on HTH. Can use as streaming attack along 20 foot line of targets, attacking each for 1d12 damage. Streaming attack requires systems check (18- on 1d20).
    • Ice Generation: Movement to create 18 cubic feet of ice, action to create 90 cubic feet. Entangling attack to encase target in 2d8 cubic feet of SR 1 ice. Entangling attack at everyone in 10 foot radius of target for 1d12 cubic feet of SR 1 ice. Movement to create Ice Spear then counts as Medium Spear-Javelin for all purposes.
    • Temperature Sensing Systems: IR vision, Sense object temperature.

Powers Description (30 facets base)
Athletic Training Midori has trained for most of her life for the womens' pentathalon—a grueling sequence of physical events—and she excelled in their training. In addition, her family has a genetic tendency towards great strength and build, and her mother has trained her since adolescence in focusing that strength with methods similar to those used in the martial arts.
  • Physical Training: Midori's strength's core is increased by 14 and her endurance is increased by 6. She is in perfect human physical condition. Her years of experience with athletics and physical labor give her a +4 on all rolls (other than damage rolls) relating to physical activity. This includes accuracy in unarmed combat or throwing weapons; she is an excellent sprinter and long distance runner, moving at near superhuman speeds (24 MPH in an extended run, 48 MPH in a sprint) and her base standing long jump is 20 feet (her vertical leap is 10 feet and her running leap is 40 feet).20
  • Focusing Strength: Midori is an expert at focusing her tremendous natural strength. Rolls to "push" carrying capacity are made against her Strength score, not her Willpower, and gain the +4 bonus from her physical training. Pushing her strength to maximum lift costs her only one fatigue, and the All Out Lift level costs 1d3+1 fatigue and does no damage. She can focus her strength in unarmed combat at will, so that her blows attack as Dangerous rather than standard weapons. If she makes a special attack against an opponent with costume defense, she can ignore that defense for one unarmed attack (so the target's wound threshold is reduced to 1/2 their endurance vs. her Dangerous grade punch); when she makes unarmed attacks against inanimate targets, Midori's damage is calculated against 1/2 the normal structural rating for the substance. With a special attack, she can punch people right though barriers of less than 6 in width and less than 6 SR, leaving a fist sized hole in the wall. Such attacks do normal damage.
Molecular Motion Device The Uriel armor is a very sophisticated weapons platform, designed to augment or reduce molecular motion. Where listed, it has a range of 180 feet.
  • Aura/Body Exoskeleton: Uriel's armor increases her strength by augmenting it on a molecular level, giving her drastic increases in durability and resilience. It raises Midori's already formidable strength score by another 21 points, and doubles her effective weight for calculating carrying capacity. It also doubles her basic hits against knockback, since the suit compensates to blunt the motion of any attacks. An unexpected benefit of this enhancement is the improving of Uriel's aura, greatly increasing her defenses against external environmental effects. She has a full adaptation defense due to this enhancement. Note that this does not include life support—while Uriel can, for example, survive in space, she must bring her own air.
  • Flame Aura: With an action Uriel can start a flame powers type defense, coating her body in a protective immolation. While this aura is active, the armor's propulsion systems can use it to give Uriel high speed flight, with a cruising speed of 360 MPH and a redline speed of 720 MPH. Uriel is highly practiced with this flight, and has a control rating of 16 or less.
  • Flame Projection: Uriel can unleash blasts of air whose molecular motion has been accelerated to the point where the gasses combust. This is a Flame type attack for 2d8 damage, and she has practiced at using it in combat, letting it function as a carrier attack. If she makes a systems check for the armor, Uriel can fire this in a continuous stream, making a to hit roll against everything in a 20 foot long arc of fire. Since streaming blasts are much less concentrated, they only do 1d12 damage.
  • Ice Generation: In addition to using her armor to accelerate molecular motion, Uriel can also slow the same, decreasing the energy level and subsequently the temperature. She can create masses of ice at will—if she uses just the movement part of her action she creates 18 cubic feet within her range, or if she spends her whole action she can generate 90 cubic feet. If used as an attack, she can coat one target with 2d8 cubic feet of ice (SR1). By making a systems check on her armor, she can expand this effect to a 10 foot target radius, attacking all within to coat them with 1d12 cubic feet of ice. With movement she can generate an incredibly sharp and balanced spear of ice that she uses as a javelin. This attacks as listed for that weapon, and she is able to apply her Physical Training bonuses when attacking with it, giving her an excellent chance to down an armored helicopter with this spear.
  • Temperature Sensing Systems: The Uriel armor can sense external temperatures within range to a 10th of a degree. In its most basic form, Uriel uses this as infra-red vision, out to a range of 180 feet.
Careers & Hobbies (29 years base)
  • Track and Field Athlete (10 Years Focused Career, 8+ bonuses): Midori is a highly experienced track and field athlete, with contacts among other athletes, trainers and officials. Her personal reputation is that of an excellent athlete whose career was beset by misfortunes. The bonuses from her Physical Training apply for all physical uses of this Career.
  • Womens' Paentathalon (6 years Broad Hobby, added to Athlete Career, 12+ bonuses): The womens' pentathalon was Midori's field of specialization, and she followed it with phenomenal natural skill. She still had room for improvement on her technical performance, but was counted as among the best in the world. Now that her athletic career is finished, continuing her training for the sake of training is her favorite hobby.
  • Landscape Architect (10 Years Focused Career, 8+ bonuses): Midori is a skilled Landscape Architect, having learned the trade at her father's knee. She has just opened a branch of the family business in Los Angeles, and has contacts with former and potential clients, others in the field and the workers she requires to see her vision to fruition.
  • Landscape Design (3 years Focused Hobby added to Landscape Architect Career, 12+ bonuses): Midori has an excellent eye for designing pleasing landscapes that appear natural and serene. Some of this is training, but most is lifelong experience with her family business and her own personal aesthetic sense.
  • Yakuza Lore (1 level of training in Focused Hobby, 8+ Bonuses): Midori has learned by necessity the basics of the complicated structure of Japanese organized crime.
Weakness: Psychological Handicap Midori has significant inferiority/overcompensation concerning variants. On one hand, she is highly envious of their capabilities and potential, and on the other she hates them because their existence diminishes the significance her athletic expertise and stripped her of her lifelong goal of Olympic glory.
