"At the end of June, when we were first starting with this, and had broached the topic with you. You had said that you weren't interested, and Peter took that very poorly... I told you, he was always the prime force behind this," Jenkins told the others. "So... let me start from the beginning here. Peter took it poorly. I told him that it wasn't something to worry about, and if all else failed we'd just make fictional versions of the Revolution for it. If you'll recall, this was right after Toy ManToy Man! attacked here, to get Phoenix. So we just let it go at that. I drove home, and... Toy Man was there. He'd stunned my wife and daughter, he had this hideous little monkey thing...." He rubbed the scar on his face. "And Toy Man said that if I didn't do everything I could in order to make the Revolution, the real Revolution, into a television show, into a media colossus, he'd come back and kill my family. I tried to call the police at one point, and a cop answered the door, but it wasn't really a cop, it was an animated toy! I didn't know what else to do, so I just... Peter convinced you to go along with it, and I thought wonderful! I'm just doing my job. And then we were talking about what villains to use, and... I was under orders! I pressed for more Toy Man. And I never thought that Peter was... why?!"
"Why what?" Scott asked.
"Why would he do this?"
No short answer there, and the police had shown up.
