"Grrrr this, dickweed." Bang! - Predator

The Pack

A criminal organization founded and run by Predator, this group operates mostly in the northern US and southern Canada, and has clashed with the Justice Defenders on multiple occasions. They first appeared in early 1986, though it is suspected that Predator fought Wildcard on a couple occasions under the name of Marksman. The group is theme based, with all of them having some sort of animal motif, and Predator is apparently on the lookout for more criminal variant who would fit his chosen pattern.
The Pack acts independently—Predator will find and develop jobs and then use his team to pull them off. These range from kidnappings to extortion to simple brute-force robberies, anything where the rewards sufficiently outweigh the risks. The Pack is not a mercenary organization, and in fact have been known to hire mercenaries to aid them in the past. They abandon their 'for profit only' theory in two circumstances. The first is in occasional mutually beneficial activities with the White America movement—Predator is a white supremacist himself, and the rest of the team is either cowed or ambivalent. The second is whenever they have a chance to hopefully kill members of the Justice Defenders—there is no love lost between the two groups, and points of exceptional animosity between individual Defenders and Pack members.
The Pack's power level runs from low Beta to mid Gamma. They have learned to work well together, but are not as tight an organization as they could be. Still, they are versatile enough to make them competent in several types of crime, and strong enough to take on conventional and variant police forces with above average chances of success. Their most common power is Variant Strength in one form or another, and their tactics and plans are weighted towards that advantage.

Predator
The leader of the Pack (sorry, couldn't resist), Predator is rumored to be a former professional hunter who got bored with the challenges that afforded. He outfitted himself with a high-tech plasma rifle from TECH and launched several attacks against the world's deadliest game—in this case, Wildcard. Predictably, he lost, but discovered something: he was pretty good at this! He changed his name from Marksman to Predator, changed his costume and upgraded his equipment. Now his plasma gear is part of his costume's micro-circuitry, making him impossible to disarm. Someone upgraded his equipment; combined with his phenomenal accuracy and hunting skills, he is a mid-Gamma class variant. He is the unquestioned leader of his little band, and is always looking for ways to increase its numbers and effectiveness.

Ferret
A professional cat burglar, Ferret is the least physical member of the Pack, but his stealth skills make him one of the most useful. He is trained to low Beta levels in endurance, agility and stealth abilities, and is outfitted with a set of metal claws for climbing or combat. Mostly he uses them for the former, as he is none to skilled with the latter. He is the team's thief, mostly his part comes in the planning and information gathering parts of the crimes. Like Predator he is a white supremacist, and the two are friends. Ferret sees himself as Predator's second in command, which the others don't.

Mastiff
Mastiff is the result of the Human Advancement League's tampering with human and animal DNA, creating a man with the muscle density, senses and instincts of a large hunting dog. Mastiff can't remember his real name, or what precisely happened to him, but knows that someone messed with his life, and shortened it—he has at best 15 years left to live. Making any sort of comment about dog years is a sure way to get on his bad side, and he won't hesitate to use his instinctive combat ability, low Variant strength and sharpened teeth to rip your throat out. He's done it before.

Razorback
A large, broad shouldered woman of European descent, Razorback's past and motives are a mystery. She's not unattractive, fairly bright and seems skilled in a lot of things—from advertising to manual labor—but decided on a life of crime. She has the ability to increase her molecular density, making her superhumanly strong and durable by degrees—the harder she becomes, the more tiring it is, but at her best she can mirror Powerhouse in strength for a few minutes. She's is also a highly skilled martial artist and attracted to Blind Faith in a tainted fashion, which is why she wants to kill him.

Sea Tiger
Sea Tiger is amphibious, but prefers living on land. He's had several clashes with Survivor and Neon Tetra, but seems to bear no love for Dr. Twilight, the other main inhabitant of the Great Lakes. Another of the team's super strong members, his raw physical strength rivals Powerhouse as well, but he lacks the hero's telekinetic versatility. Sea Tiger is not overly bright, but has a shark's cunning and some experience as a professional soldier. If his claims are believed, he was a captain in the navy of Shandamir and exiled for being on the wrong side of a civil war, ending up in our dimension.

Wyvern
Wyvern is also believed to be part of the HAL's experiments, though his origins and are murky as Mastiff's. He is reptilian in appearance, with functional underarm wings, claws, fangs and potent venom. He's also superhumanly strong, fast and durable. Wyvern is a significant threat, but is also the least intelligent and controlled member of the Pack. He follows Predator just because Predator has bested him too many times not to follow orders, and because by staying with the Pack he gets shots at Powerhouse, whom he hates more than anyone in the world due to the hero's jibes and taunts.
